(Or FNC Entertainment proves it is the new Uncle Scrooge of kpop)
After weeks of previews and expectations, FNC drops the main single of its new supergroup’s (there are ten members @.@’) debut album after the sucess of AOA’s comeback last year even after some very tricky controversies emerged around the group (which is the more profitable one of the company).
Q&A, on that context, brings the same concept of AOA’s Bingle Bangle, playing (literally) with different 8-bits videogames, one for each couple of members. It’s not something very inventive or new considering the aesthetic and its lightheaded blubblegum sound, but show that FNC is serious to beat its adversaries. I’m saying this because the company saw what was successful last year and repeat it with its new brand (so many of fans that brought Bingle Bangle to #1 spot at the charts will pay attention to Q&A).
Lastly, to not say that is exactly equal to Bingle Bangle, the melody mixtures zumba and dancehall (giving a different approach to a very common rhythm in recent years), remembering Miss A’s Breathe, and the charisma of the members are more likely to be aegyo than the sexiness vibe of AOA…
